Snow polo began in the Alps and is now played from St. Moritz to China. In Uzbekistan it is played in the mountains above Tashkent.

Amirsoy

On 2 January 2021 the federation held the Amirsoy Cup at the Amirsoy mountain resort, the first snow polo tournament in Uzbekistan.

On snow the game changes. The field is smaller, teams play three a side, and the ball is larger and lighter so it stays on top of the snow.
