01 · Who we are
The personal data operator for this website is the Uzbekistan Polo Federation, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Write to us through the contact page about anything in this notice.
02 · What we collect
Only what you type into our forms. The contact form asks for your name and phone number and, if you wish, your email, a topic and a message. The Academy form also asks for age, riding experience and the programme you are interested in. When you send a form, our hosting provider also processes technical data such as your IP address to block spam. We never ask for passport details or other sensitive data, so please leave them out of your message.
03 · Why, and on what basis
We use your details only to answer your enquiry and, for Academy requests, to contact you about training. We process them on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the box on the form. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.
04 · Children
If an Academy applicant is under 18, a parent or guardian should fill in and send the form. By sending it, they give consent on the child's behalf.
05 · Who receives it
Your request goes to a private Telegram group read by federation staff and, where set up, to the federation's email inbox. The website runs on Cloudflare, which hosts the pages and checks forms for spam. These services are used only to deliver and protect your message. We do not pass your data to anyone else unless the law requires it.
06 · Transfers outside Uzbekistan
Cloudflare and Telegram run servers outside Uzbekistan, so your data may be processed abroad, including in the United States. We use these services in line with Uzbekistan's law on personal data. By sending a form, you consent to this transfer.
07 · How long we keep it
We keep a request only as long as we need it to deal with it, and delete it no later than 12 months after our last contact with you, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
08 · Cookies and analytics
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not identify you; it shows us only totals such as page views, countries and referring sites. The website uses no advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site and its forms. If we add any other analytics, we will update this notice first.
09 · Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us through the contact page and we will reply within the time the law sets. You can also complain to Uzbekistan's authorised state body for personal data or, if you live in the EU or the UK, to your local data protection authority.
10 · Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the website changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
